Terms of Service

Effective date: [REPLACE]

1. The service

QuackList is a YouTube library management tool that helps users inspect, classify, organize, back up, and manage playlists and supported YouTube data.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your Google account and actions performed through your authorized QuackList session. You must use QuackList in compliance with applicable law and YouTube/Google terms.

3. User-directed changes

QuackList can perform actions that change your YouTube data, including adding, moving, reordering, removing playlist items, or changing liked status. You are responsible for reviewing requested operations before confirming them.

4. Backup and restore limitations

Backup features are an additional safety tool, not a guarantee of perfect restoration. Deleted, private, removed, or unavailable videos may not be restorable, and some YouTube-internal metadata may not be recreated exactly.

5. API availability and limits

QuackList relies on YouTube API Services and may be affected by API quotas, outages, authorization status, policy changes, or third-party limitations. Quota usage shown inside QuackList may be estimated and may differ from Google’s authoritative project-level usage.

6. Acceptable use

You may not misuse QuackList, bypass usage limits, interfere with the service, access accounts without authorization, or use the service in violation of YouTube or Google policies.

7. Availability and changes

QuackList may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features as the product evolves or as required by technical, legal, or platform requirements.

8. Disclaimer and liability

[REPLACE / REVIEW FOR YOUR JURISDICTION.] To the extent permitted by law, QuackList is provided “as is” and “as available.”

9. Governing law
